Expert reports, judicial analysis and expert opinions

Neodiagnostica S.L.U. prepares DNA expert reports with full validity before the courts and official bodies, both in civil and criminal proceedings. Our reports are based on rigorous protocols that guarantee the reliability of the results and the legal validity of each analysis.

Process and Guarantees

Sampling

It is performed in our central laboratories or in our network of accredited centers, by qualified personnel and always on a voluntary basis. To ensure impartiality, the presence of a witness is recommended.

Identification of participants

It is verified by official documents (DNI, NIE, passport) and, in the case of minors, also with family book and passport photos.

Chain of custody

From sample collection to the issuance of the report, strict custody of samples and documentation is maintained, avoiding unauthorized manipulation. Samples are kept for 5-10 years depending on the case.

Genetic analysis

DNA extraction, amplification and sequencing to establish kinship relationships or biological identification. The whole process is performed with restricted access to authorized personnel and respecting judicial standards.

Final Report

The results and conclusions are presented in an official expert report, with the possibility of ratification and defense in court if required.

Expertise and technical defense in court

Our team of specialists can act as legal experts, ratifying the reports and technically defending the results before the courts or competent authorities. This ensures that the report not only has formal value, but also professional support in case of litigation.

Experience and confidence

With more than 10 years of experience before the courts, we combine technical knowledge and scientific rigor to offer reports and expert opinions that meet the highest legal standards.

Family reunification

Neodiagnostica S.L.U. is a laboratory recognized by the Ministry of Justice and is part of the CNUFADN (National Commission for the Forensic Use of DNA), which enables us to perform official genetic analysis for family reunification processes.

In many family reunification procedures, the authorities request a DNA test to confirm the biological relationship between the applicant and the family member who wishes to be reunited in Spain. These tests consist of a comparison of the genetic profile between the alleged parent and the child.

Our laboratory performs these analyses with official validity, following the standards required by the Spanish authorities. In addition, we accompany you throughout the administrative process:

  • Coordination of sample collection appointments.
  • Arrangements with the Spanish embassies or consulates in the corresponding country.
  • Sending the official report directly to the competent authority.

Our goal is to facilitate the process and ensure that the analysis is performed with maximum reliability and in compliance with official requirements.

Surrogacy

Surrogacy consists of the implantation of an embryo created in vitro in another woman (gestational carrier), who does not provide genetic material to the baby. Therefore, the DNA test allows to confirm the biological filiation of the intended parents and to comply with the legal requirements of our country.

In these cases, the DNA test is an indispensable legal requirement to process the documentation of the newborn before Spanish embassies and consulates in any country .

Neodiagnostica S.L.U. has all the official accreditations and is in charge of issuing paternity and maternity reports with legal validity, facilitating all the necessary procedures so that the filiation of the newborn is correctly registered before the competent authorities.

Post-mortem Studies

Neodiagnostica S.L.U. performs genetic analysis for the identification of biological remains, including bones, teeth, biopsies and other samples from deceased persons.

We have adapted facilities and specialized equipment, as well as highly qualified personnel to guarantee reliable results in all types of post-mortem studies.

In addition, we collaborate in projects related to historical and democratic memory, contributing our knowledge in forensic genetics for the identification of skeletal remains and other biological samples in these contexts.
