The facilities are organized into separate work areas for each phase of the analytical process, including sample reception and registration, DNA extraction, preparation of PCR amplification reactions and analysis of genetic profiles by capillary electrophoresis. This separation of spaces allows maintaining a controlled workflow and minimizing any risk of contamination.

Our laboratory has state-of-the-art scientific equipment and control systems that guarantee the correct handling, identification and conservation of biological samples throughout the analytical process.

Work areas

Receipt and registration of samples

Area for the reception, identification and registration of biological samples. Each sample is incorporated into the laboratory's traceability system before starting the analytical process.

Preparation of PCR reactions

Area dedicated to the preparation of DNA amplification reactions by PCR, where strict control measures are applied to prevent contamination and ensure the quality of the analysis.

Specialized equipment for the amplification and analysis of genetic profiles by molecular biology techniques used in forensic genetics and DNA analysis.

Capillary electrophoresis
